Is CarryPaws™ the right size for my dog?

CarryPaws™ is designed to be universally sized, aiming to comfortably fit most small breeds and puppies.

To ensure the best fit, we recommend taking a couple of quick measurements before placing your order.

Weight Measurement To determine your dog's weight, simply step on the bathroom scale first, note the reading, then step on again while holding your dog. The difference between the two readings will give you your dog's weight. CarryPaws™ is suitable for dogs with a weight of up to 15 kilos.

Chest Girth Measurement Using a soft, flexible measuring tape, gently wrap it around the widest part of your dog's chest, which is located just behind the front legs. Your dog should be able to sit comfortably inside the sling, with enough room to breathe and adjust their position as needed.

A Consideration for Comfort

The 15-kilo weight limit is as much about your comfort as it is about your dog's. If you find that carrying your dog for extended periods feels too heavy, it may be worth considering whether a sling-style carrier is the most suitable choice for both you and your dog.

Ideally, your dog's head should rest naturally above the opening of the sling, without feeling constricted or having to strain upwards. This position indicates that they are feeling relaxed and secure.
